TGVair at a glance
Corsair has teamed up with the SNCF (French Rail) to offer you a number of fantastic international destinations from anywhere in France. With TGVair, you’ll purchase one single ticket for your entire journey. It’s simple, economical, and convenient. One combination Corsair/SNCF ticket allows you to benefit from three distinct services: a high-speed train (TGV) to Paris, a shuttle to the airport, and a flight with Corsair. TGVair was created to make it easier to travel to international destinations from anywhere in France.
Traveling from Rennes to Martinique with TGVair
Corsair and the SNCF (French Rail) have teamed up to create TGVair, a service allowing you to reach a number of international destinations from the city of Rennes.
To benefit from the all-in-one TGVair travel package, simply book your ticket at a travel agency, a Corsair customer counter, or online on the Corsair website. When traveling to Fort-de-France, your trip will start at the train station in Rennes. To reach the station, take advantage of the city’s excellent network of public transportation. Subways, city buses, and intercity coaches provide for quick and easy access from anywhere in the city - as well as its surrounding area. If you’re coming by car, you can park in the station’s enormous underground parking garage.
You may leave your car in this garage for the entire duration of your trip, provided you reserve a spot in advance. A “dépose-minute” area is also available for those who wish to be dropped off in front of the station. On the day of your trip to Martinique, head to the TGVair counter inside the Rennes train station with your reservation confirmation and ID. An SNCF agent will print out your train ticket, as well as a voucher for the shuttle to the airport in Paris. If you booked your ticket on the Corsair website, then this ticket will be valid for your entire journey. Be sure to arrive at the station at least 30 minutes before your train is scheduled to depart.
You’ll exit the train at the Massy TGV train station in Paris, where a Corsair shuttle will be waiting to take you to the airport (Paris Orly Sud). Upon arriving at the airport, a Corsair agent will check in your luggage and direct you to the boarding area for your flight to Fort-de-France. Please note: in the event that your train or plane is delayed or canceled, Corsair and the SNCF (French Rail) will book you on the next available train or flight at no extra charge. If necessary, you will also be offered a free hotel room.
TGVair: Your gateway to magnificent Martinique
Every week, Corsair offers non-stop flights to Martinique and a number of other islands in the French Antilles.
TGVair is the promise of a stress-free journey to each of these destinations, from anywhere in France. On the day of your trip to Martinique, you’ll begin by taking a high-speed train (TGV) from Rennes to Paris. Next, you’ll board a flight to Fort-de-France from Paris’s Orly Airport.
Upon arriving in the capital of Martinique, you’ll be relaxed, rested, and immediately taken in by the incomparable beauty of your new surroundings. Please note that for all TGVair destinations, the sequence of travel remains the same: a high-speed train (TGV) to Paris followed by a flight with Corsair.
